chunks of yoga can help your child to be in control of their emotional needs. After some practice your child can slip these tools into their day to day lives when needed.

Volcano is fun way to let go of any built up energy or anxiety. Teach your child this exercise to let off steam or release excess energy safely and peacefully.

Start in mountain pose - stand tall with feet together arms by your side. Relax your shoulders down away from your ears.
Jump your feet wide apart – like doing a star jump. Stand still, take a big breath in through your nose down to your belly, as you do this bend your knees and bring your hands together in namaste (prayer) position in front of your chest then as you straighten your legs, move your arms above your head and open them up as you let your breath out with a big whoooshh…………………..
Imagine what is exploding through the top of your volcano. It may be hot lava, steam or even warm runny chocolate…yummmm!!!
Repeat until your volcano is empty.
